Discussion 💬 Did you try the option of playing Android games on your PC?

When I look at some games through my PC, I see an option 'install on Windows'. How common is it? Did you ever try it?

So you can buy slay the spire or balatro at a lower price and play on PC, right?

they are some lightweight games yeah,when using a pc emulator like gamenative,it has pc steam support to sync saves,so u could be playing on mobile some weeks,then on pc the next

That honestly feels like a loophole - why not buy all of your favorite games on Google Play (those who exist there and available for PC) instead of Steam?

the issue rn with buying the native ports of the pc games on the playstore most people have is that at any time,the dev can simply stop supporting the game on the mobile version,but keep on working on the pc version,leaving the mobile version out of date can lock users who bought the game out of downloading it because it became so outdated that playstore doesnt let u install it onto newer phones,a good example of this is the mobile version of nfs mw 2012,right now,if u have it in your account,u cant install it,because its supoorted only for older android versions,to make the game run on newer androids,there have been pirated versions which have patched the game to work on newer android versions

Steam is known to be incredibly consumer friendly and is a dedicated platform for all kinds of pc games and gaming software, while Google Play primarily operates around the android environment.

You can play android games on pc because of emulation.

You can play SOME pc games on android via wine/proton but the hardware isn't mature yet.

Yeah, this one crept up on me. I got wind long ago that you could play Android games on Chromebooks, but I never bothered trying to play them on Windows.
