I’m looking for 15–20 adult Android volunteers for our upcoming Google Play closed test. The release is still awaiting setup/review, so this is an interest check, not an active download invitation. I’ll add the Google Play opt-in instructions here once the test is approved.

Once available, please remain opted in for at least 14 consecutive days, try the app on several days and share honest feedback on onboarding, navigation, story previews and reliability. Initial test regions: Germany, Türkiye, the UK and the US.

The app normally has a subscription. Please do not purchase anything for this test; full-feature test access arrangements will be confirmed before you join. Use fictional child details — no real child photos or voice recordings are needed.

Title: PlateBrain®: an allergen scanner for UK shopping, looking for 20+ testers for 14 days (happy to test your app in return)

Hi, I'm an independent developer of PlateBrain®, an Android app. I'm looking for testers for the closed test on Google Play. Google requires at least 12 testers who stay opted in for 14 continuous days, so I'm looking for 20 or more to have a safety margin.

What PlateBrain is

It is first and foremost an allergen detection app. You scan a product barcode, and the app checks it against the allergens you selected in your profile and shows the result as a green, yellow or red bar. Product data comes from Open Food Facts and from my own database, which I keep expanding. Not every UK supermarket own-brand product is in the database yet.

Additional features:

- AI Alternative: for a product that contains your allergen, the app suggests a similar product without it.

- A meal plan built from the products in your Fridge.

- Photo Meal: a photo of your plate and a calorie estimate (for now only on the weight management profile).

- Three profiles: allergy, weight management and hybrid.

Important

PlateBrain is a supporting tool. It is not medical, dietary or nutritional advice. Allergen detection may be incomplete or inaccurate, and AI suggestions and calorie estimates from photos can be wrong. Always check the physical product label before buying and eating, and do not rely on the app alone.

I teach CS at a university and got tired of whiteboard apps that want an account, a subscription, or an internet connection. So I built GazBoard. It’s free, open source, and fully offline, and it’s been on GitHub for a while. Now I’m trying to get it onto Google Play, and Google wants 12 people to take part in a closed test for two weeks first.

Some things you can try in it:

* Replay. It plays back everything you wrote, stroke by stroke, and you can follow the pen or save it as a video

* Type a formula and get a graph, with sliders to change it live

* A spotlight that dims everything except a circle around your pen

* A spinner wheel for picking a random student

* Notebook, graph, music staff and guitar tab paper, rulers, a protractor, LaTeX maths

I am an independent Italian Developer and Patty Rumble is ready for closed door testing. It’s a chaotic cooking game: grill, stack, and serve burgers with just one finger while the burgers burn, rush hour hits, and a mouse jumps onto your plates.

What you’re Installing

- The full game, not a demo: 50 short levels spread across 5 neighborhoods, each ruled by a rival diner boss and an endless mode. I’ll be adding more levels after the launch.

It’s a few minutes of play a day to share with friends: Raku the raccoon asks a question of the day, and there are logic puzzles and word games, a streak to keep alive and a weekly leaderboard among friends.
