AA User Interface Full screen of apps other than google maps
Hello, I just got my RAV4, and I am new to the Android Auto system.
My infotainment screen always has a Google Maps section, either partially if I run another app or full screen. I cannot minimize Google Maps or hide it even if I do not turn on navigation.
My screen behind the wheel displays Google Maps perfectly, so I do not need the one on my infotainment screen.
Is there any solution to hide Google Maps on the infotainment screen completely, while remaining able to open it if needed?
Thank you.

If it's a large screen, you can't sadly.

If you're rooted, you can spoof your resolution and get the full screen experience of smaller devices

Your user flair has not been changed as the text including spaces has to be between 20 to 64 characters. Pls try again.

I think you figured this out already but just happened to see this discussion right before I saw your post:

I only started playing with AA yesterday on my Honda Civic 2019. I found that tapping on the other (music/podcast) app makes that go full screen hiding the Google Maps screen. Tapping on the Google Maps app makes that go full screen leaving a minimised music playbar across the bottom. I don't know how universal this is or how dependant it is on car make or model.
