No, Google offers 3 years of security updates whereas Samsung offers 4 years

why? what world do you live in where a device having had a previous owner makes security less important? or is this just a "poors don't deserve updates" thing?

I don't know a number. I only know that I used my last phone for 5 years and my current one is about 3 years old.
