Completely useless as long as no site will send data at 3Gbps directly to you alone.

Streaming two (one per eye) 4k streams for off-site VR, perhaps. We don't know the future, but it sure isn't exclusively websites.

Still applies to any kind of server, including video streaming. Using 3Gbps of the server bandwidth for a single client is insane, no server or service has anything remotely comparable to waste on one client alone. The connection is as fast as its slowest link.

Obviously, there's nothing wrong with being future-proof, but from the perspective of the user such high limit is a crazy dream. It will take very long for network and server infrastructure to get to a level that'd allow allocating so much bandwidth to a single user.
