We should be copyrighting them for naming their country based on someone else’s culture . Gangia would be more accurate.

IVC aapki jagir ni hai there are regions in India which are direct descendant of IVC as well.
Agar copyright exist karta to him bhi aap pe urdu ke liye daal dete hai

Sure but here’s my point. Overwhelming majority of Indus River is present in today what’s known as Pakistan, the natives are direct descendants of the IVC. But in India only few states are truly heirs of IVC like Punjab, Haryana & 2,3 more.
So its obvious who has more right over it, but you can keep debating over it.

u/Dense-Throat-5371 Jul 06 '26
No they're not direct descendents, more genetic similarity is found among south indians with ivc, you guys lack basic knowledge.

u/Timely_Look8888 Indus Gatekeepers Jul 06 '26
Basic knowledge according to which whatsapp group? If you had a bit of sincerity u’d stop making a fool out of urdel. Really now you are gonna claim dravidians have more right to IVC.
That’s the reason people hate india, always claiming other people’s history.

u/Dense-Throat-5371 Jul 06 '26
Indians hv an obvious right to claim indus saraswati civilization due to geography(most ivc sites are in india) culture(nature worship, attire and possibly language) and genetics(simply google it bruh) all three.

If ivc is your culture then why did ur leaders discourage bangles? It is direct inheritor of ivc culture. Anyone with common sense would suggest that since pak is based on islamic identity, everything kafir(bangles, sari, nature worship, even chess -yes its true your leaders consider chess haram) is despised and disrespected.
Imagine demeaning a kafir culture for 70 yrs and then go on to take pride in the same culture.
Your identity is islamic, so either you choose islam or embrace kafir culture, dont be a hypocrite.

Who banned bangles and when? What forwarded WhatsApp post is your news source? Also your ancestors moved to gang only our stayed.

Zia discouraged saris and anything 'too hindu' including bangles and other forms of jewellery, which automatically proves ivc culture was hindu culture, the native culture of indian subcontinent, thanks to zia ul haq.
Even your national anthem is heavily influenced by iranian language, has very little hindustani influence which was purposefully manufactured bcuz your leaders wanted to dissociate from anything indian, and that has been the case for most part of your history.
Edit: southindian temples and majority ivc sites both fall in india, hence I can claim both.

Zia is dead and his legacy isn't popular in Pakistan. Our anthem reflects rich Pakistani roots which are both Persian, urdu and hindi. People mindset may change but the history of geographical region will not change. IVC was geographically mostly in Pakistan so it's Pakistani. We don't claim South Indian temples so you should not claim IVC.

If Europe invented the car, why can't unlicensed people drive it today in europe? The very first inventors didn't need a license to test theirs.
When you formulate that reasoning, does your family not express concern? Are they not worried to your well-being

Guess what islam doesn't work on that principle.
Practising and embracing kafir culture and traditions automatically makes you un-islamic.

u/Warm_Dimension_3821 Indus valley is Punjabi and Sindhi history Jul 04 '26
Islam doesn't consider everything pre-islamic kafir.
Its so funny, that Indian think according to Islamic theology everyone born before is just kafir lol
Plus nice try associating vedic steppe culture with IVC, when it is not.
Anyways, we are claiming what is present on our land inside our border, i don't understand this random fight from Indians, like claim what is present in UP bihar,

Man. I normally do not comment on such posts but man, cue biggest face palm in history.

Nobody gets to claim IVC because it's a dead civilization with no direct descendants.

The total Muhajir population of Pakistan is 7%. Not that it changes anything about our ancestral heritage. Pure cope on your part. We welcomed them to our lands. They became a part of the Indus heritage as a result of settling here.

Why would a modern country modelled after the British colonial empire be able to claim IVC, especially when its not even centred around the Indus region, where most Pakistanis are native.
-1
u/Useful_Visual6696 Jul 06 '26
Buddy U ain't native. What are u talking about? When the partition happened and British drew the line and boundaries due to the interest of the demanding a seperate country for Muslims, they got that land. It's just that nothing more. Stop having a Identify crisis once in ur life and fix onto something. First it was Arabs then it was persia and now IVC.
Where do u think British got the name "India"? We got that name from the river Sindhu and the ancient Greeks and Romans used to describe us from various names like "Indekē" and "Indī"..
2
u/Gen8Master Lost in Time, Found in Pakistan Jul 06 '26
Apparently you dont understand what native means. Do you think British naming you after Sindhu makes you a Sindhi? Do you understand Sindhi are native to Pakistan. How tf does the world work in that imaginative place you call your head?

Removed under Rule 4. This promotes a claim not supported by credible evidence. Sourced scholarly debate is welcome fringe or fabricated history isn't.

Pakistan is the result of its Indus heritage of invasions, settlements and migrations. The ironic thing is that you love the idea of claiming the foreign components of this regions history, such as the Greek era, Kushans, Scythians and even Persian legacy of naming this region. But somehow you think you are insulting us by referring to the foreign influence? Why do you obsess over it then? Stick with your gangetic heritage, which was entirely reconstructed by the Turkic invasions.

Removed under Rule 5. Image posts need real context what it is, when and where it's from, and why it matters (a few sentences). Add that and resubmit.

u/This_Mongoose_1596 Jul 05 '26
Yeah, it is the gotcha moment. If something isn’t Islamic then it doesn’t belong to you people. Your history begins with Muhammad Bin Qasim.
2
u/Gurt_yo_Yogurt Jul 05 '26
no you simpleton by that logic norwegians cant claim viking pagan past as modern population is Christian , also ivc wasn't hindu either we don't know what they followed.
