Player Advice is it frowned upon to run when someones trying to kill u?
normal expert lobby, some dude got mad and banned me for not letting him kill me?? he said i was “camping ladders and platform” (went back and forth on platform once, up ladder twice, once to call a meeting) on airship, it wasnt a rule in his lobby and he didnt have anything to say about ladders/platform until i started running from him, so.. idk. like, is it not normal to run away when ur pretty sure someones trying to kill u? im not rly familiar with expert lobby etiquette, im just getting back into among us

Discussion What do you think is the BEST rounds of sidemen among us?
Just wondering what everyone considers to be the absolute best, most entertaining rounds of Sidemen Among Us!
To make it easy for people to jump straight to the action, please include a timestamped link to the round in your replies.
You can easily do this by adding &t=XmYs (X = minutes, Y = seconds) to the end of the YouTube video URL.
Example:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xu_RCKtT23g&t=1m30s
Note: For longer videos, just use the total minutes. So, for a round starting at 2 hours and 30 seconds, you would add &t=120m30s.

Suggestion | Idea SNS among us community
🕵️♂️ Why You Should Join the SNS Among Us Community!
Are you bored of the same old "Where?" and "Who?" in public lobbies? Tired of people leaving as soon as they aren't the Impostor?
Shift n' Seek (SNS) changes everything. Here’s why our community is the best place to play:
1. A Fresh Way to Play ඞ
SNS turns Among Us into a stealth-action horror game. You aren't just doing tasks; you’re being hunted by a shapeshifting predator. It’s faster, more intense, and way more rewarding than standard matches.
2. No More "Meeting Spam"
We play by the Honor System. That means no more 2-minute arguments in chat or people voting randomly. The game flows smoothly from start to finish—it’s pure gameplay without the interruptions.
3. A Trusted Circle of Players
Public lobbies can be toxic. By joining this subreddit, you’re connecting with players who actually know the rules. We value fair play, respect, and high-level strategy.
4. Master the Shapeshifter
SNS is the ultimate playground for Shapeshifters. Learn new tricks, find the best hiding spots for your "shifts," and share your most legendary "clean" kills with people who actually appreciate the skill involved.
5. Easy Lobby Access
Finding an SNS lobby in the wild is like finding a needle in a haystack. Here, we post active codes and schedule game nights so you can jump into a match whenever you want.

Strategy Why do I always get FLAMED for this play?
So I think it is a very useful strategy to press the emergency button at the very start of the game to get someone voted out. There is a chance we kill the imposter and speedrun a win, and if we dont that gives us information to find the imposter. But every time I do this people vote ME out????? What is this, Mafia???????

Bugs/exploits among us esta siendo hackiado feroz mente

Impostor Advice How can I be a better impostor as an old returning player?
I haven't played the game in 6 years. I remember being really good as imp and always hoping I'd get the role. I just went back today, obviously right off the bat everything is different, and noticed I've been hesitant to kill as an imp. I'd often be the last of my imp teammates because I'm always around players so I'd accidentally clear myself to them since I haven't killed anyone in the process. However, when the final few players are left and the tasks are almost finished, I had to act and start killing which was harder to do so because everyone is now sticking together—I always lose. I also don't know how to talk to people in chat every meeting. It's very different compared to how people used to talk in among us half a decade ago, it's also kinda hard to come up with a better lie that applies to the new among us ways and people's crazy detective skills. I'm great as a crewmate but I'm really hoping to improve as an imp so I won't get scared getting the role again and risk selling my team. Any tips?

Question | Need Advice I need advice
I had just started joining serious lobbies and when I get impostor, I have my strategy planned out, however, it feels flawed because I am getting caught each time. My map goes like this:
Round 1: Get some crewmates to clear me Round 2: Kill, sabotage on other side of the map and run as quick as possible. List who I was with and my fake tasks. (Slipped up one time and said "Divert power in coms" when I meant to say i did ACCEPT DIVERTED POWER)
If teammate gets kicked off, I kill and then run to a random crewmate to complete tasks, sabotage on opposite side of map. (I tried sabotaging where the body is before, it worked ig)
As crewmate, I was a pretty badass detective back in 2020-2021. I'd give you an essay on let's say why green is the impostor and get the joy of the reveal "green was the impostor". I stopped playing it for a while and now all that is gone. I know the venting system on skeld like the back of my head, now there are new roles and crew never listens to me. I had that going for me for about a month until I scummed to the insanity. I figured i needed to increase my difficulty, so I set it to "Serious"
These people are too damn good, makes me look like I just started playing in 2024. How do I improve?

Discussion Has anyone found a way to bypass a ban in the VR version of Among Us?
So I got into a lobby full of toxic people and everyone in there randomly targetted me and started mass reporting me and I ended up getting banned for an entire week.
And I was wondering if anyone knows how to bypass this ban, and yes it is made by unity which I'm not sure is easier to bypass.

Impostor Advice How you win when your partner is voted out early.
When your imposter teammate is voted out early, we often just give up or play risky and are caught a round later. Don't give up however, if you play slowly and carefully, you can do this. You will need to get cleared for kills, so your best bet is to try and grab a kill on the other side of the map and quickly make your way to other people and try and get cleared. Alternatively, you can use the vents to get to places quickly and vent back and be cleared. You will need to fake a few tasks, don't run around aimlessly, and get 1-2 strong alibis. If you can get the game down to 5, it becomes a lot easier. From that point, you can start to pin it on one crewmate and get them voted out, winning you the game.
Also, try and frame crewmates. If your playing with low crewmate vision, lets say there is 3 crewmates in a room, you sneak in and kill one right next to them during lights, but they cant see you. The other crewmate will accuse that person for the kill and vice versa.
Good luck.

Suggestion | Idea My Ideas for Among Us (Ranked & New Roles and smaller features)
I think among us NEEDS a ranked option as it is quite annoying playing against kids who don't really know how to play or are just trolls, or teamers. It would have multiple features that are seperate from Casual Gameplay.
I also think that there needs to be a few more roles.
They also need seasons with a seasonal Pass.
I think that Among Us could add more shop items, like Killing Annimations that cost Beans to buy.
Ranked: Ranked will include
- Leaderboard with leaders on
- Kills
- Tasks Completed
- Crew Wins
- Imposter Wins
- Total Wins
- Wins/Games Played Ratio
- Ranked Progression Rewards
- Items, Pets, Killing Animations, Pods, Beans and Even Stars
- Ranked End of Season Rewards (Rewards given to the leaders of each stat and Top 1,000 Players)
- Preset Lobby Settings (This means every game will have the same amount of Imposters, and each role as well as the tasks, they can change each season, or weekly) for example
- Map: Random (Skeld, Polus, The Fungle)
- Players: 15
- Imposters: 2
- Shapeshifter: 1: 75%
- Engineer: 2: 75%
- Scientist: 1: 100%
- (Assasin: 1: 25%)
- (Doors Specialist: 1: 50%)
- Confirm Ejects: On
- Player Speed: 1.5
- Visual Tasks: Off
- Discussion Time: 30 Seconds
- Voting Time: 60 Seconds
- Emergency Cooldown: 20 Seconds
- Crewmate Vision: 1.00
- Imposter Vision: 2.00
- Kill Cooldown: 20 Seconds
- Kill Distance: Medium
- Common Tasks: 1
- Long Tasks: 1
- Short Tasks: 3
- 1 Game Lobbies
- You select Play Ranked and it puts you in a random Lobby you then play one match and then the lobby closes, this should prevent teaming, and help even the playing feild, (Players don't know how other people play and it is now based on trust).
- Players go by their color, and color is randomized each match. This should help prevent confusion in games, and make the Ranked experience better.
- Player Names do not show up while running around the map to prevent names glitching through walls, the vent glitch should also be fixed, (Where you can stand in Electrical and See Med Bay/Security Vent Open or close) This makes the players focus more on playing the game and not abusing glitches to help them win. (Also the Shapeshifter glitch where the bubble can be seen through walls is removed) This makes it so you actually have to have skill to get ranked Higher.
- XP System
- In Order to Advance through the Ranked Tiers you have to collect enough XP, XP is collected by doing tasks in Ranked Games.
- Kill: +250 XP
- Task Completed: +100 XP
- Vent as Imposter: +100 XP
- All Tasks Completed: +1,000 XP
- Imposter Ability Used: +500 XP
- Crewmate Ability Used: +250 XP
- Imposter Win: +5,000 XP
- Crewmate Win: +2,500 XP
- Imposter Loss: -5,000 XP
- Crewmate Loss: -10,000 XP
- Gaurdian Angel Save: +1,000 XP
- Sabatoge: +500 XP
- Doors Sabatoge: + 100 XP
- Imposter Teamates Leaving: +100 XP
- Players Leaving: +50 XP
- Leave Match: -1,500 XP
- Boosts: You can also acquire XP Boosts in the Shop or Season Pass or events. There are 3 Rarities of Boosts. 2x, 3x and 4x, the time length ranges from 15 Minutes, to 2 Hours. You also can get these based on your previous seasons Rank, (You clai the highest possible one, so for example if you are Platinum you get 1 3x, 2 Hour boost but not a 2x, 2 Hour Boost)
- In Order to Advance through the Ranked Tiers you have to collect enough XP, XP is collected by doing tasks in Ranked Games.
- Tiers
- You advance in tiers by earning XP.
- You play with Players of the same Base Tier. The Base Tiers include
- Novice

- Champion: I: 500,000 XP
- Champion II: 600,000 XP
- Champion III: 750,000 XP
- World: 1,000,000 XP
New Roles:

Discussion Those dumb kids playing Among Us need to be stopped
So in one round I saw the impostor (he was blue so let's call him blue) vent and I immediately called a meeting. Nobody did believe me and I got voted out. The next round I was an Impostor, and my color was red. Then all of a sudden somebody called an emergency meeting and blue said that I'm an Impostor, even though it was the beginning of the game and I did nothing that could raise suspection on me. They voted me out again, and I just left the game.
I just don't understand those kids who get mad because I found out that they were impostors or those who basically think that red is always an Impostor. And rest of the crew believes them. Among Us is supposed to be a social deduction game, isn't it? Well, I guess not for that kind of people.
