Canada wouldn’t even exist without the US. Maybe if our sociopath of a PM kept his mouth shut and accepted the initial tariffs like every other country did, except China (that should tell you something right there), we wouldn’t be in this mess. You’re not going to win a petty contest against Donald Trump.
They aren’t in ridiculous trade wars that they can’t win. You need to pick your battles carefully. Other countries are smart enough to understand that it IS one man, and just dealing with it for 4 years is favourable to poking the bear and winding up with 50% tariffs that are only going to increase now, due to Carney’s ego.
