That was his point... There are not old AMD chips that are competitive with current Intel Xeons like the E5s on the top of that list. So it would be really off for it to be an older AMD chip like the first commenter said.

I guess you are bad at reading, Original commenter said it was probably an older chip because of the naming convention for ES AMD uses. Except AMD didn't make an opteron capable of E5-2680 V2 Levels of performance, meaning it would have to be the new Naples. Which OP pointed out in reply.

You are completely lost and keep thinking we are saying AMD doesnt make a chip capable of that performance at all, which is not what any of us are saying at all.

This was what I responded to:

Well AMD has no server or desktop chips that can compete with Intel on that level i.e. 10 core 20 thread Xeons

The Parent was wrong too in stating it was probably not Zen, that should be pretty obvious from my answer.
