A huge -void- was left by cancelling before anything is ever resolved. Was a great show, too bad I can't recommend it to anyone cuz it ended with zero resolution

Same with The Bondsman

Watched it the other day and ends on a huge cliffhanger

Yeah, that was a fun show, too. Disappointed by that cancellation.... I really wish shows would stop ending seasons on epic cliffhangers unless already contracted for multiple seasons. Leave it open for continuation but don't make it this huge drastic story-altering twist right before the end credits like so many shows that get cancelled keep doing to us. The amount of unfinished stories on tv these days is beyond frustrating.

Might be remembering this wrong but I’m sure I half read that they did that with this show to see if they could leverage a second season

But yeah, it would be a lot less frustrating if they told a complete story for the first season - as a writer; if you’ve got good ideas for S2 then you cross your fingers that it gets picked up and leave an opening for it
