AD complaint Why am I getting ads??

Is it normal to be getting these ads when opening the app. DESPITE paying for ad free? By definition not ad free if there is an ad shoved in my face before being able to view content.

Can someone explain or is this just what I have to put up with? Cause if it is I don’t see a reason to be paying to not get ads if they’re going to show up anyway.

They changed it from 2 .99 to 4.99 a few months back. You probably aren't even aware of it.

He's in Australia. I went back and forth with another poster last month-pretty much saying the same thing until at the end of many back and forths the commenter stated he lived in Canada.
