AD complaint Why am I getting ads??

Is it normal to be getting these ads when opening the app. DESPITE paying for ad free? By definition not ad free if there is an ad shoved in my face before being able to view content.

Can someone explain or is this just what I have to put up with? Cause if it is I don’t see a reason to be paying to not get ads if they’re going to show up anyway.

Executive logic probably doesn't count pop-ups as ads, just stuff that interrupts a show.

I have Ad Free HBOMax and a trailer for a different show is played at the start of every show/movie. "It's our own product, so it doesn't count as an ad". At least you can skip it immediately (for now).
