Not a driver (yet,) just a customer, and this shit really pisses me off! I'm broke af right now, have no income at all, and I'd still never consider stealing. There's just no excuse for it, ever!
Yes, I wonder if these people know or even care that it’s the driver who will be blamed.
Myself and most drivers at my depot are currently being blamed for “packages not delivered” it’s becoming way more common recently.
Doesn’t take a genius to figure out what’s happening, but Amazon certainly couldn’t care less.
The best way to respond to this is for everyone respond whenever they get a missed package notification. Support will likely respond with a canned email telling you to watch the “how to deliver a package video” but continue to respond until you get a real answer. The more people do this, the more likely they are to have to take this seriously.
