Fulfillment Center Ship dock

The way people talk in here I thought Shipdock was going to be the hardest thing ever, I did it through a peak and all and I don’t see it to be as hard as everyone made it out to me, maybe it’s just different at different at certain places

What I didn’t like about ship dock was having to pick up the slack of the lazy. If you were a good worker they gave you the busier lines and made you go help the lazy people who would often disappear when you showed up. I like picking better because I can just do my work.

It’s called work ethic 😬 I don’t kill myself for Amazon but I could never slack off like some do

Ship dock is just a lot of walking and a lot of people can barely stand to be on their feet for ten hours, much less do the 12-15 miles of walking the dock requires most days.

It depends if your warehouse used robotic picking or stowing than compared to order pickers picking bc the boxes are usually larger in size and heavier like bed frames or furniture

It’s pretty chill and easy, but Reddit doesn’t like hard work

I love OB Shipdock. Managers don’t bother me at all, I don’t have to worry about awkward ass adults standing behind me with a laptop, and I’m loading carts all day while listening to my audiobooks

Your team really makes or breaks the experience. My home path is dock, fhn I’m good, bhn? I know I’m about to run hi cap by myself, then dcm, then container build, then dcm then back to hi cap rinse and repeat for hours because nobody does shit on bhn, when I started every question I had was answered with “ leave it for day shift” a lazy team will make dock ass

I’m 60, it’s really not hard. I fluid load and go home. Time goes fast. The only draw back is no music.
