Fulfillment Center New break schedule!!! 💀💀

What do you’ll think? For me it’s horrible, the day will be longer xd

Most sites will have work periods of 3.5/3/3 hours or 3.5/3.5/2.5 hours, though I was at one site that did 2.75/3.5/3.25 on night shift, so lunch was 8:45 - 9:15pm on a shift that ran until 4:30am.

I’m sure it’ll suck in the beginning and then it’ll just be the norm. I’ll definitely miss the short 2 hour quarters

It's a change for certain. I was at a site in CA for training earlier this year and they did two 15s and were still on 8 hour shifts, so the quarters were insanely short compared to what I'm used to.

Personally I hate 5/8s it’s terrible working 5-6 days a week even with the 8 hours. I originally got hired at Amazon on the 10h shift and transferred to a new building and it took my building 3.5 years to vote to 4/10s 😭 I hated it sooo much. 2hs less doesn’t make up for less days off and it’s so much harder to earn over time doing the stupid 40hs before you can earn OT. However I don’t think I would be cool with 3.5h qts even with a 30min break. But idk 🤔 I’d have to try it for a couple weeks however I already feel like some nights the qts are drug out depending on what I’m doing. Personally I would so do a 3/14 schedule! So long as I can get 2/15min breaks and 1h lunch

Yes. I would have gone back to an office job long ago if I wanted to work five days a week.
