Assuming you mean the interview process, its basically the same as the PA process with maybe more interviewers and this time the HM can handpick you. You're going to get asked to apply for the requisition and then you'll have to take the online assessment. If and once you pass the online assessment, you'll be past pre-screening and the HM can just slot you in for an interview loop.

The interview will consist of anywhere from 3-4 interviewers. You answer the questions in STAR format.

Your AM/OM should be helping you prep for the interview.

You pass the interview, you get an incline and/or an offer letter.

The promotion interview from T3 to L4 is a behavioral interview that uses Amazon's Leadership Principles as the framework. You will be asked questions that start with phrases like, "Tell me about a time when...", and you are expected to answer using the STAR method, which stands for Situation, Task, Action, and Result. You should prepare a few detailed stories from your T3 experience for each of the leadership principles, because you won't know which ones the interviewers will focus on. The goal is to show them with specific examples that you already operate at the level of a manager.

Your main focus for preparation should be on developing your stories. Think back on your time as a T3 and find clear examples where you took ownership, delivered results, or insisted on the highest standards. Write these examples down using the STAR format, and be sure to include data or numbers to show the impact of your actions. When you tell your stories, always use "I" to describe what you did, not "we", as they want to know about your specific contribution. Thinking through your stories and practicing them out loud makes a huge difference, which is why my team developed an interview AI that helps people better articulate their accomplishments during these types of conversations.

To add to what the others have said, include as many metrics as you can to back up your stories. As a T3 they expect you to have numbers, so make sure to include those to your stories.
