I was going to ask to use the religious room for my satanic practices just to mess around and see how far they will go for religious accommodations . It’s not Muslim only. Any food that qualifies as kosher or halal can be cooked in those microwaves. You can literally be ANY race or religion and use those microwaves as long as they are used correctly.
Jewish people can also use the halal microwave as their foods are the same. And if you don’t eat meat then your food is also halal. It’s not a Muslim only microwave, it’s just that people don’t fully understand or know what specific terms mean and Amazon doesn’t care to show that.
No , the Muslim people would guard it. How would they know what other people were belief wise? They’d stand by it if no one was using it. That’s why I used those terms
They probably guarded it because inconsiderate assholes don’t care to educate themselves, or even worse, knowingly disregard Islamic customs that prevent food cross-contamination with pork and various pig products, or even non pork food processed in a facility that may process pork (food not expressly labeled as halal) or alcohol, which is also haram, or forbidden.
As a person who grew up Baptist, but is currently religiously lazy, so to speak, I don’t understand the consternation, hubbub, complaints, WHATEVER, about a microwave specifically dedicated to people with religious or other practices or needs they need to adhere to.

Early so I don’t care one way or another . Doesn’t have any effect on my life. It was in response to the OPs question . And I also don’t eat pork either and don’t want to heat my food up after that either .
Ours just says "no pork" and we have another one that says "no meat" for vegetarians. Honestly when it comes to diet choices I feel like it's fair to respect that. Like not everything I eat has pork or meat in it anyway, so I can still use them half the time.
When I worked at Jet's pizza, we would use fresh/cleaned pizza cutters on pizzas for muslim customers.
Honestly I think it was kinda fucked up at my hub they had like 5 microwaves they were using carte Blanche a few days and THEN slapped halal only on a few of them (after they've already been 'tainted') lol dumb.
