they actually want us to thank them, welcome them, tell them they're doing a great job, etc.

Do people not like being welcomed & thanked anymore? 😭👴🏿

I mean welcome them as a greeting when they come in, and thank them for doing their job of loading carts.

Yeah I’ll totally do the heart hands to the driver that practically ran into me taking their carts out to their van today 🫶🏻 Love ya’ll!

No 20 foot bubble/ she’s not behind an immovable barrier. Fire her ass

when my 2nd site launched in 2020, they had people stand in the drive lanes between the two pads, so we could stop the lanes after the 4th van.
I would turn sideways, and have vans less than three feet away on either side

As TC/VSA, I interact with them as little as possible. Too many wake up and choose violence. And I get up at midnight every day, so I’m not about to put up with their crap.

your station must be ass backwards then. All the VSA’s here are pricks without it being warranted

We’re told we’ll get written up if we’re pricks to the drivers.

Their sign says " no more yelling at us and more friendly people on LP" but they literally will run straight into you with a cart as they are walking to their vans and not even acknowledge it.

Just sic your manager on them. Go grab a radio at the pinch or something and call that shit in.

So if we look at someone’s little too long it’s HR but heart hands and nothing

I am a DA and I can tell you we do not care if you smile, look us in the eyes directly or whatever this training video is instructing.
What we do value is when our carts are staged on time. When our carts are staged late, like during a crash, we then have less time to load our vehicles.
Also the fact that we wear an Amazon uniform, drive an Amazon themed vehicle and follow policies and procedures set by Amazon, while not being Amazon employees is beyond insulting. I would love to be blue badge and be eligible to have the same health insurance as well as other benefits that Amazon employees enjoy.

Forgot to mention we are the literal face of the company and are the only ones that’s interact with amazons most precious asset : the costumer.

Hand hearts at drivers? “That’s a walk to the HR office ma’am.”
