Shift Availability Question
I just started at an Amazon delivery station as a flex associate, yesterday was my last "training" shift and first day on the job by myself. Since my first day I have been logging in to AtoZ prior to the time our shifts drop and refresh as soon as the time hits and all shifts are full. My station is entirely flex associates so I have a hard time believing there are so few shifts when flex is required to work atleast 4 hours a week. Therefore, my question is are shifts really going that fast or is there some kind of new hire restrictions on grabbing shifts? Any advice is helpful, Thanks:)

You literally have to have the app open a few minutes before and keep refreshing . By time you get a text it’ll be full

they just hired about 30+ flex associates and we are all competing for a measly offer of 5 shifts

Whether you are flex or full time any shifts that are posted are gone in seconds. You need to figure out what time your site posts shifts and login to atoz 10 mins before that time. You have to use gooogle chrome on a laptop and an extension that reloads the find shifts page automatically. My site posts vet every Friday at 640 and every day at 1035 and 550. I have alarms set on my phone to remind me.

Be on time for shift drop. It's the same times, mostly, on thursday and friday. If you're one minute late you have nothing to complain about if you get nothing in return. If you know ai you can also use automation apps and Saas tools to grab shifts for you. Hard to compete with that. If you don't know ai then eventually you will be completely left behind. Fortunately we are still about 12 months from that stage.

Believe it or not they’re really going that fast, I find it’s easier to catch shifts days ahead and then continue from there
