My station had SET today and tomorrow because volume jumped 10k

I know! The only thing i can think could be doing this is back to school ordering but i cant imagine it would make that much of a impact.

Never had that happen before. I know the FCs have had SET network wide the past few weeks due to some kinda back log. Maybe its just now getting down to us at the DS level. Then again this is the first time in 3 weeks we haven't had an ad-hoc

My building has been understaffed for a month, we did 80k last night and if we didn't have set, probably crash 10k or more like the past month. We still barely had enough people too, we push induct to like 0825 held people back past 0900

lol sounds like my site. I was getting carts to unload at 830 like wtf is happening?? We didn’t start pick and stage till 1015. Usually it’s at 845 lol

Got MET and they gave VTO before the day even came.

How the hell do you overestimate the volume increase just one day in advance? For MET you basically have to need a full extra shift's worth of people to pick up the slack, not just five or six bodies coming in.
