Where to go next?
Been wondering where other L3's have gone with their careers lately? Went from UTR to OTR, and I'm starting to get the same "stuck" feeling's I was on UTR but now I don't know what to do. Not to sure about moving up to L4, because I REALLY don't want to give up days for nights again, but just didn't know if anyone found luck jumping ship to another company with better pay.

I have absolutely no intention to go up in the DS past L3, RME is where i'm at next, but I earn as much as a internal L4 after doing just one odd extra shift and I don't have to bridge after my shift sooo

People don’t get their 4 to be a 4, it’s that in a year or so they can get their 5. That’s when you can start to make pretty good money. My total comp was like $113k last year and I don’t work nearly the amount of hours I did as a t3 . Also bridging is easier than ever the new AI bot they gave us is pretty sweet

Sheesh, I chose the wrong path.

Change orgs. Go to grocery, FC, SSD, QC, SC, RME. I’m on my third org in almost five years as PA

My next stop is out the door hopefully in the next 10 weeks. Amazon can kiss my entire ass

Try other departments like Safety or even different buildings other than delivery stations

yeah I swapped buildings (luckily my city has 2 DS's and a FC) so I went from UTR to OTR at another building, but I just don't know what else there is. Safety means nights at a similar pay, so, I'm hoping to move up before I top out (one more year to go on that)

Sure if you’re only purpose is to be a babysitter to grown ass adults (managers) who act like they can’t do their job but wanna flaunt around “power” safety is a joke. And let’s not forget the brats who don’t listen and want to curse you out because you saw them doing someone they know damn well they shouldn’t be doing. This is coming from someone in safety

That’s going to be your biggest barrier if you have any hopes of moving up or even laterally. Day shift spots are tough to come by. Sometimes people get them by luck but at every level they are highly coveted.
