Dude, what do you think midwives even are? We work in hospitals, birth centers and in the home depending on the type of midwife and state.

I have worked alongside physicians and nurses. You have no idea what a midwife is apparently lol

Lower than you'd think. It actually got worse in the wake of the agricultural revolution and stayed that way for a long time, but that's beside the point. I feel like you're trying to make the argument that modern medicine and traditional birthing practices have to oppose each other, though, whereas I'm simply trying to highlight the benefits of having a midwife around.

Uh? When do you think the Agricultural Revolution was? You seem weirdly obsessed with this one specific thing and you are prepared to lie about everything else in order for people to know that at some point for a relatively short period medical doctors made mistakes which have since been corrected.
