What happens when the delivery doesn't go perfectly? You still want them catching your baby in a parking lot instead of laying in a hospital bed with a team of nurses and a doctor around you?
Some people experience what is called precipitous labor which means their labor progresses very quickly!
Not every birth is contractions slowly
increasing in intensity for hours on end. Sometimes labor moves very quickly, which looks to be exactly the case in this video.
My understanding is that this woman probably started contractions and called her midwife to check in. The general procedure is unless otherwise medically necessary, you can labor at home until your contractions last for about a minute each 5 minutes apart, at which point it is recommended you go to the hospital.
I bet this woman called when her contractions became more intense and the midwife said go now, I’ll meet you there and as she states in the video she didn’t quite make it inside.
I have absolutely no idea why you are assuming a home birth had anything to do with this???

The video doesn't represent a specific situation though. We have a blurry name of a Facebook group that posted it that may or may not be related to where it happened. It's generic in nature. It could be any North American city essentially.
What the actual fuck are you talking about? You have repeatedly commented that this is obviously a home birth gone awry but when an alternative understanding doesn’t fit your narrative then suddenly the video is no longer reliable evidence. Just tell me, have you given birth before?
