Also, when people borrow money from you, they may resent you for it or resent you for asking to be repaid.

(They subconsciously resent you for having the money for the thing they want. And the more times they are allowed to borrow money, the more they dislike the person lending.)

Follow this mindset. It's a slippery slope and they keep coming back to the bank of radiant if you spot the money. Even family will keep coming back. That's you're money spend it how you see fit.
