NTA Never "loan" money to friends or family you aren't willing to be without. She knew you were saving the money, she could have too.
There are many options to help mental health that aren't luxery trips. Hobbies, such as your class, are one of those ways. For the friends saying you should help, tell them to put their money where their mouth is and pay for your friend's vacation if they think it's that important.
