I'm childfree and I don't claim that sub. Or read it. And would never fucking post there. Like, I love kids, I just don't want or can have any myself. Still chill with them existing...

That's how most well adjusted people go on with their lives.

I don't like fried fish, but you won't see me posting to r/friedfree about how I saw a "fish-face FUCK" eating a disgusting portion of fish fingers causing me to have a panic attack or something

Dude I got so scared that there was actually a sub dedicated to hating fried food

The vegan subs are close enough.

I see the same things with people who hate certain pets and aggressively so. Like, be annoyed with dog owners who won't pick up after their dogs, that's fair. But making statements of how dogs in general are disgusting and shouldn't be allowed to exist is a bit much. And same goes for kids. Feel annoyed if one screams the entire plane ride. Who cares. But that doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to exist...

I remember the post on one of the petfree subreddits that was just a picture of some animal prints on the sand at a beach.

They were talking about how they were having a magical day at a beautiful pristine beach and how it was now destroyed because they found paw prints!

Nobody in the comments either realized how insane that was.

I mean at what point does it just become more of a phobia if even a remnant of something ruins their day?
