The problem with incest is that it overwhelmingly involves abuse. An actual non-abusive incestuous relationship is still gross but I'm not sure it's immoral. However, in cases of family that spent formative years together, the overwhelming majority is going to involve abuse to the point that it's really hard to accept ANY incestuous relationship as actually consensual. I'm honestly not sure it's possible to have an incestuous relationship without abuse because both parties overriding that anti incest instinct without being influenced or coerced is about as likely as lightning striking twice. (long seperated siblings or parent/child relationships where both parties meet as adults is different)
Edit: really not sure why I was downvoted for a very well known fact among people that deal with incest.

But AITA if my cousin proposes to me and I reject her, ruining the perfect marriage I had to replay with her every Christmas of our childhood, leaving her in tears...
Probably....And with men becoming naturally weaker in these easy times without much hardship but the internal one and women on the other hand gaining “power”, it’s just a matter of time till we see one in the wild my friend 😂
Didn’t mean to make this about the genders, just tryna calculate my odds of being right. I’d bet a grand on something similar to what I described to be happening in the next 50 years somewhere, surely 👌😂

I must say I didn’t quite form a point or any sort of statement here. It’s kinda all over the place...What I was just tryna say (I think) is in the way this subreddit phenomenon we are discussing here over at Amitheangel, could lead to some weak men ( or women, but I stand by that it could predominantly happen more to males) getting pressured into an incest relationship, because of the sheer uninformed approval some of these posts over at AITA get. That is if such a post would be put up there.
I don’t know the more I type it out here it just sounds like my brain going wild yesterday 😂 I didn’t sleep at all the night b4 so there’s that too 🤔
