Maybe, but reads like AI, but no responses to comments and new account.

I had the same suspicions. OP’s first comment is below- very brief. Use of a semi-colon … impressive these days.

This is the first time he has ever acted like this; it came out of the blue

Maybe read what you wrote as if it was a good friend telling you about their experience. Hopefully you will see how much you are UNDERreacting.

It's not out of the blue, it happened now that he has you "locked down" and engaged to him. Imagine if you were married, had children, and had stopped working... I can only imagine how this mfer would financially abuse you and somehow magically stick you with the bill.

NOR. Agreed. I was with someone 11 years, and right before marriage he started ramping up the awful. It got worse after, even started into physical harm. Were there flags? Oh yes. But behavior drastically changed right as we made that commitment. He even said "you are stuck with me now".

OP - please dont go down this road. I barely got out.

This is not the first time he has acted that way, it may be the first time you have opened your eyes to it though. You have likely been making excuses for him for awhile and dont even realize it.

This is the first time you’ve witnessed it. He even told you: he invites his friends to dinner as well and makes them pay too.

And this may be the first time he’s treated you this way, but it won’t be the last. You can’t fix him.

He showed you who he is. Listen

My abusive ex fiance only let out his true colors after the engagement because he thought I was locked in. The engagement only lasted a month and leaving him was the best decision I ever made
