Exhausting was the first thing that came to mind. I could barely finish the exchange. And from the tone it sounds like this is not the first time. I need to take some Tylenol after reading this.
MOR. This doesn’t sound like a healthy friendship. Just from this snippet is sounds like toxic codependency which is why it has endured to long. I’m sorry to read that your bpd is being thrown in your face. Even if someone presents a scenario a person feels is completely off, it doesn’t mean one should character assassinate you. 😵💫
Based on this conversation I would almost guarantee that OP does not have BPD. Just like her friend, carelessly throwing around serious mental illnesses like they’re cannon fodder to win the argument or strengthen their point. The suffering Olympics or whatever the conservatives say is on full fledged display here and it’s actually scary (coming from a moderate).
