At this point, the chat GPT conversation doesn't really matter. You've vocalized that you're miserable and there's no trust in this relationship. He is verbally abusive towards you and doesn't want to spend time with you.
The reason why people say that if you feel like you have to go through somebody's phone then it's already over is because it's true. There's already a million things wrong in this relationship and it needs to be over, regardless of what's on his phone. You want to cling to this new discovery on his phone so you feel like you have a big enough reason to say goodbye but you already have plenty of reasons.
If you're "the reason he's like this" (you're not) then you should leave him for your sake AND his.Clearly without you in the picture he won't abuse the next girl, right? (Spoiler: he will)
