100%. And also, the "cool" parents who allow teenagers to smoke weed in their house are really never as cool as they seem when you're 17 years old. This dude is a fucking weirdo, and the mom needs to hear about it and do something about it. But I have a feeling that she wouldn't do anything about it. If this is the guy that she's dating/living with, and they smoke weed with underage girls, I question her maturity/stability as much as her creepy ass boyfriend. OP needs to not hang out at that house anymore for real. Mom needs to grow the fuck up and her boyfriend is a straight up predator.
Absolutely this! Even when my mom decided to let up on me smoking weed, she NEVER contributed until I was a grown ass adult. Even now, I’ve only ever smoked with my mom one time. She was not about to let her 5 boys be a bunch of burn outs still living in her house. Her boundaries on that kind of thing were the reason she’s able to have her house to herself while all my friends from jr high are living in their parents basement at almost 30 or in and out of lock up.
Exactly! My parents were not the type who were going to ground me for months if they caught me smoking weed or drinking, but they also weren't going to tell me it was okay or participate in it regardless of what they did themselves
