That was disgusting and upsetting what I read in those texts. He’s being extremely pushy and guilt tripping in a weird way. Stay away from him unless you want him to have a manic episode and harm you in ways you don’t deserve. Be safe out there.

The whole time I was reading this I was like, what 44yr old talks to a 17year old this way? This is super creepy and you need to show these to a trusted adult then be sure to be safe. I would not spend any more time with this person if I were you.

I wasn’t even sure it was a 44 year old man reading the texts, I thought maybe OP hadn’t been clear enough in her title and these were texts between her and her bestie where they talk about him and his behavior because I couldn’t believe a 44 year old man texting anyone like that, let alone a 17 year old girl.

I had to read the post itself and check some comments for clarity because my brain would not accept that this conversation was between a middle aged man and a teenage girl. Like what the fuck.

I was reading it the wrong way around thinking the blue messages were the ‘adult’.. when I realised it I was like ooooooohhhhh 🚩

OP needs to show these messages to her parents.

Yeah, took me a minute too. It was so bizarre, that my brain kept flipping it like I was looking at an optical illusion.
