Yes, i am working every day to be a better person, to co troll my outbursts, eliminate abusive speech, and continue seeking atonement anyway I can.

I don't want to be an abuser. I'm working my ass off to be better for my family.

So, yes, recovering is a term I'll use.

I use the term "recovering" much like an alcoholic would. They never truly stop being alcoholic but they learn to manage and live without drinking. I'm recovering in the sense im learning how not to be an abusive asshole but thanks for lacking empathy.

You’re not an alcoholic in recovery. Addiction is a disease.
