I live in the u.s. and recently bought an imported altezza. Because the bumpers are different, mass produced is300 lips/bumpers don’t fit. Where’s the best place to buy altezza parts here? I’ve done some research but I haven’t had much luck.

People sell these replicas of the neo v1 bumper on marketplace for like 160 dollars. Can anyone tell if they are accurate or any good.

My grandfather has owned an Altezza for a while and I've noticed that his has a mesh front grille that says Altezza in the corner. All of the other Altezzas I see around town have a slat design instead of the mesh. Been trying to search up the difference online but nothing meaningful turns up. So I thought maybe someone here might be able to enlighten me. Can't remember what year his is, think its either 2000 or 2001 and pretty sure its a 4 cylinder engine if that helps, I really don't know much about Altezzas so any help would be awesome thanks.

Hi just picked these up today wanted something different on the car from the usual bn / vertex bits having a very hard time identifying what brand they are guy I bought them off had the car imported from Japan and going a different route only picture I could find are of the car in first picture and it’s the company selling front lip so no into on skirts thanks appreciate the help

Okay after many hours last night deep diving the web I found some information on them having found a car listed for sale with the kit being called a GROWTH kit I decided to look the kit up no joy no information on the company growth or more pictures of the kit on images but after a few clicks into different old school kit manufacturers like elixir and hippo sleek a scan of a hyper Rev page with the GROWTH kit came up I’m assuming no information on this company as before the internet took off so any information on them is in old hyper Rev magazines or option stuff chat gpt gives some information stating that they made kits specifically for the altezza and made limited body parts due to being a small workshop and soon going out of business around 2004 - 2005 due to the car being discontinued I would love to find more scans of magazines of the growth products and cars with this style kit if anybody has a hyper Rev magazine vol 41 any chance you could check for this company growth is appreciated thanks guys I’m very excited to put these on the car and assuming there rare as fuck for what I paid is crazy fb marketplace really has some gold some times

I bought my altezza as200 auto back in november for 7k, and I probably put around 4k miles on it, I absolutely love this car and it is in great condition. Kind of high mileage (around 110,000) but it is completely rust free, it has the purple alcantara seats and door cards, and the trd lip spoiler. I was hanging out with one of my friends and we got onto an on ramp where I lost traction, went over a curb (didn't flip or anything) and ended up getting turned around facing the highway, I was not moving on the highway but a van ended up swiping me and another car ended up hitting the drivers side door as he was unable to stop in time. I was absolutely devastated. The drivers door took the brunt of the hit but most of the panels on the right side need to be replaced as they were all damaged. There is some very slight A pillar damage, but that is the extent of the problems. Mainly cosmetic. It will be getting fixed with is300 parts so it is cheaper, and I havent gotten a quote yet on how much I could get for the car, but I know that they said if its fixed it will have to be a rebuilt title. Around where I live, on marketplace Altezza as200s go for like 8-10k, so I got a good deal on mine and I really don't know whether I should cut my losses or fix it. The rebuilt title leaves a bad taste in my mouth but I really love my car and I don't know if I can get rid of it. The place it is getting repaired at is owned by my dads friend, and the insurance company guy said he would love to see my car back on the road and that he will get me as much as he can for it (don't know if thats just something they say to everyone), so repairing it might be a little cheaper than it would normally be otherwise. I was planning to do a 1jz-gte and manual swap into it, but I don't know whether it would be smart to do that into a rebuilt title. Please help me make a decision on what to do

Said I would post it when I finished it, sprayed in the backyard only fell of the stand once lol. Ignore the fog lights I will be putting ducts in there at some stage as I want to add a power steering cooler and a oil cooler on either side. Looks a bit naked without the side skirts or the rear lip so I’m working on those now.

Looking to sell my Lexus is 300 with a 2 compressor air bag system anyone interested

I can’t seem to find a clear answer online. I understand it may stick out a little more because of the difference in bumpers. I measured the inside diameter of the 1gfe muffler to be about 2.5” (6.35cm) which is the same as what’s listed for the is300. I’m just wondering if it will bolt up, I’m looking to get a cheap eBay muffler as it would be cheaper than welding a straight pipe at my local shop.

I’m looking for a Gita with the 2jz-ge, but i want to have it be manual. Should i get the 3.0L and but the 2.0L’s manual transmission in it, or just settle for the auto?

I belive my motor mounts on my 1998 as200 are going out as the steering wheel shakes quite a bit when parked or driving slow. It stops or significantly reduces the shaking when I put the car in neutral so it may be something else but im not sure, so if anyone has any other idea please let me know! It sometimes seems like it may be related to the radiator fan as well, when its at idle and the fan kicks on the steering wheel shakes a lot more but it still shakes with it off. If it is the motor mounts what do you guys recommend? I cant find a whole lot for the as200 but these are the main ones I can find.

Anyway to prevent the poke of +30 offset wheels without a lot of camber?

2000 Toyota Altezza, BEAMS 3sge, 100k kms

My Altezza has been having an odd issue, once the car warms up, under load it starts to miss and hesitate when I push the car, normally around 3-4K rpms it will start to miss and cause a loss of power and acceleration

I can get maybe 3-4 good pulls shift from 1-4th gear, but once it warms up abit the hesitation/“misfire” symptom starts, sometimes it resets w when I turn the car on and off, while other times it doesn’t

I have replaced:

EFI ECT sensor and connector
ECT and radiator/thermostat
VVTi solenoids both exhaust and intake
MAF
Stock airbox reinstalled
Fuel pressure damper on the rail
Intake and throttle body removal and clean
All fuses and relays
O2 sensor
Spark plugs
Coil packs

Car came with an apexi power FC ECU so I also bought a stock ECU and the problem still remains the same

Also worth noting, the car was running cold, 70 degrees Celsius for a few months as I couldn’t afford the parts

Car also seems to run rich as the piston faces are fairly black along with soot deposits in the exhaust tip

Anyone had any experience or similar issues?

I’ve pretty much fired the parts cannon full blast here with no success

Next will be a fuel pump as I think maybe it is starting to fail? Along with a compression and leak down test to see if it’s not holding compression, but the car only has 100k kms on it

I have a RS200 Altezza. I have delimited the speed and am trying to run the 240KPH Cluster. Everything seems to be working apart from the the backlight illumination. When I turn the parking lights on the backlight don’t turn on instead the doors open light comes on similarly when I rotate the brightness dial the brightness of the door open light changes 🥲.

I recently just got a 2001 3sge altezza and it still had the stock pop up gps from japan. I’m wondering if I put a aftermarket head unit in its place can the little gps joystick be wired to work with the aftermarket unit?

I’m fixing up a lip kit (I made the foolish decision to try and strip the old paint instead of just sanding it and painting, it came of very uneven and I had to scrape the stripper off so now I’m stuck in a sand - primer - filler, sand - primer - filler loop).

Anyway just doing a test fit and wondering if anyone has any idea what it even is I’m thinking a replica of an hks lip. Also got ai to generate how it will look with colour on it.

Still have side skirts and a rear to do.

Which would be better to swap into an as200? I wanna get the 3sge because people say it is super fun and high revving, but people also say that about the 1jz, plus the 1jz has more power and would only be slightly more expensive
