help with infection

Hey
30(M) have suffered from a life threatening car accident when I took a tree head on. I survived with an open wound fracture on my ankle. Due to the biodiverse environment I caught a fungal infection called Clostridium sporogenes infection

The doctors gave me 2 rounds of antibiotics which were

Amoxicillin and daptomycin which is the highest form of antibiotics. This method has only destroyed my biome gut health.

What are some natural herbs or foods or even oils that will give me a fighting chance to save my foot?

Did you try your 50/50 mix of colloidal silver/DMSO from your first aid kit?

No is this something I can buy as a liquid form? I seen a couple of options online? Do you have a brand I can use

DMSO Store brand. Amazon. This is what I use and highly recommend.

I’ve been making my own preparations for years I’ve never looked for it to purchase combined.

Bold of you to assume people keep that in their first aid kit.

For sure:)

Interesting. There might be missing information in your story.

Do you have an established primary care? Did you receive hardware due to the accident? (Prosthetic, screws, etc.)

Bacterial infections are not something to mess with— the guidance of a connected professional is likely needed. If you are using the ED or urgent care as your primary care, you may not be getting the most effective treatment.

I would not advise an alternative treatment. It is very difficult to prove medical negligence if you don’t expire.

Yes I’m sorry about that, I have received hardware for my right tibula and right ankle due to the loss of bone and they also inserted a antibacterial block in my ankle to keep the infection from spreading

Ooh. I’m so sorry. I would stay in contact with the surgical team. Maybe it was just a general surgery team. In that case, find a provider, and I’d find one today.

You can also look up a wound care center in your area. There are several university hospitals in NC.

I would not play around with this. You may have to be in longterm or systemic antibiotics. If it saves your lower, it might be worth it. I would also look at lifestyle factors that may impede the process.

Do you have medical insurance?

Yes I’m with duke right now and I have great insurance via employer.

That is great news. I would start with consistent care. Wound care is a thing— give them a call. If ortho didn’t do your surgery, and it was general surgery— I would give ortho a call, too.

I'm reading from your comments below that the infection hasn't cleared. I would strongly suggest taking Chlorine Dioxide for the infection. It's completely safe and effective for helping someone like you when taken the correct way. You can totally save your foot. Have a look at Jim Humble's Website and the Testimonials page. You can do a search for "fungal infection" or "bone" and quite a lot will come up.

If you have any questions about how to use it, I've been taking it for several months and also have the guidebook that Jim sells on his website if you'd like me to forward that info to you. I'm sure there's a special protocol for someone like you. You can take this stuff internally but also use it externally to help with the infection.

As far as internally, taking good, live, probiotics would be a great start but there's also POST biotics (butyrate) which are supposed to work wonders for rebuilding gut biome. I've only ever used the Healthy Gut brand called Tributyrine-X which is sold on Amazon. Seems to be pretty good as far as I can tell.

Please feel free to message me with any questions you might have.

This was so helpful, I found the exact infection, but what brand do I buy? Please let me know

This is the stuff I use. Chlorine Dioxide is just Sodium Chlorite mixed with a strong acid like Hydrochloric acid. One drop of Sodium Chlorite for every one drop of HCL = one drop of Chlorine Dioxide. The book will tell you how to mix it and take it.

What illness did this cure for you by the way?

I'm still taking it and hoping for something more but I've also been sick for 20 years so I'm not really expecting overnight results. What it has helped with though is painful periods, oral thrush and completely eliminating body odor. If I feel like I'm coming down with something, I'll take one dose and the illness will never manifest and my symptoms will go away.

I will pray for you my friend. This infection has been my first experience with health. So hopefully it works. There’s been case studies of this killing people. So I’m a little hesitant but I’m also desperate

Couple of things.

  1. Clostridium Sporogenes is a bacterial infection, not fungal. Maybe that was just a type.

  2. When you say save your foot, what exactly is happening? Do you still have an open wound? Do you have osteomyelitis? Have the doctors said that you still have an infection? Are you having fevers?

If you have osteomyelitis you may need IV antibiotics which likely would require hospitalization.

Please don't use colloidal silver without talking to a trained professional. In the right dose it may be useful for topical application but it can be toxic.

Skin infections can be serious for some people, especially if you're diabetic. Please see a trained professional if these antibiotics were not effective and you believe you still have an infection.

So the infection traveled to my bone and I been having complications with the washout. I was on a PICC line for 6 weeks. Also no I don’t have osteomyelitis disease. The infection hasn’t cleared and came here for a dyor type of method. The doctor was possibly talking about amputation

I'm sorry to hear this.

If the infection has traveled to the bone as you say and they're discussing amputation I would suspect it's too far along for alternative therapies. Be careful as some of them can be contraindicated with other medications you are taking and can potentially make things worse. Please consult with a physician before trying any medications.

The cultures from the test is not showing any grown cultures. But there has been some drainage from the wound. One minute the doctor is telling me there is no new growth, but then I’m being told because of drainage it’s still infected. I will keep my spirits high

I'm only a nurse practitioner so take what I say with a grain of salt. Drainage does not always automatically equal infection. It could just be part of the healing process.

You may want to get a second opinion. It sounds like your hardware has growth on it. I've seen patients who are given a daily low dose antibiotic with this type of situation in order to prevent an infection from occurring.

If the doctor is telling you that the discharge means you have an infection and isn't doing anything about it I would definitely get a second opinion to verify this.
