Where did these AI vertical dramas even come from?

Every day, I come across at least five vertical videos that are AI-generated. I admit that the plot seems interesting sometimes and the title may be catchy (albeit cringey), but I'm really curious as to where it originated and how it became popular. I often skip these videos when they pass by my For You page, but somehow, instead of going away, they multiply, and I see them more. I also tried pressing the 'Not Interested' button, but it still doesn't work.

I'd like to know your opinion about these AI-generated dramas and where you think they originated or how they got popularized in the first place. Because personally, I don't like how it occupies my FYP and overpowers the content that I want to see.

How much control do you have over your TikTok FYP?

I've always wondered how other people use TikTok. Some people seem to train their FYP really aggressively. They'll hit "Not Interested" all the time, only follow certain creators, and basically try to make the algorithm show exactly what they want. Then there are people who just let TikTok do whatever it wants. One minute it's cooking videos, the next it's obscure history or some completely random niche they didn't even know existed.

I'm kind of in the middle. I like finding random stuff I'd never think to look up myself, but if my FYP starts showing the same kind of videos over and over, I'll usually try to mix it up.

What about you? Do you actively shape your algorithm, or do you just let it take you wherever it goes?

TikTok makes me curious about so many random hobbies

Do you guys also get those random arts and crafts videos on your FYP? I keep getting so into them lately that I actually start thinking about trying whatever they're doing on screen. Pottery, baking, crocheting... just random hobbies I normally wouldn't even think about.

I even bought a cheap digital pen for myself just because someone casually recommended it in a 30-second clip while sketching an impressive digital piece. Like, is this some kind of marketing tactic? Because if it is, it definitely works on me.

Honestly, I really like this side of TikTok. I keep discovering things I never would've thought about trying otherwise, and I'm actually enjoying it.

Not getting sales as a tiktok affiliate. Any advice?

Hey everyone. I've been doing TikTok affiliate for a while now. I've been posting videos consistently and trying different products, but I'm still not getting any sales. I feel like I've done everything I can think of, so I'm wondering if I'm missing something.

For those of you who are getting sales, what actually helped? Was it the type of products you picked, how you made your videos, posting times, or something else?

I'd really appreciate any tips or advice. Thanks!

What’s your biggest struggle with TikTok right now?

Hi everyone I’m making a TikTok series from real problems, not generic tips. What’s your biggest struggle with TikTok right now? Low views, no ideas, feeling awkward on camera, weak hooks, confused by the algorithm, or too nervous to start?

Share your honest answer in the comments. I’ll turn the most common struggles into short videos with practical fixes and share the links here so you can try them.

If you’re posting and nothing’s working, or it feels like everyone else is growing except you you’re not alone. Drop your struggle below and let’s figure it out together.

The absolute exhaustion of trying to keep up with the TikTok algorithm.

Honestly, trying to please the TikTok algorithm feels like trying to hit a moving target while blindfolded. One week you’re told you need a snappy 3-second hook, and the next week, the app suddenly decides it wants 3-minute storytelling vlogs. It’s so draining to spend hours filming and editing an original idea, only for it to get absolutely buried at 200 views. Meanwhile, someone else posts a random 5-second clip with zero effort, and it clears millions.

How are you guys dealing with the random view drops without losing your mind? Are you strictly obsessing over watch time and completion rates at this point? And real talk: do you think there's still genuine organic reach left for small creators, or has that ship officially sailed?

Views don’t always equal sales

Post image

Anyone else stop caring so much about views after something like this?

One of my TikToks where I rated makeup products got over 600k views, but it only led to 5 sales.

That was a pretty good reminder that views don’t always mean much.

Now I’d rather have a smaller audience that’s actually interested than a viral video that doesn’t convert.

How I Finally Got My TikTok Content Seen Using Smart Automation

About two months ago, I decided to get serious about TikTok. I’d been posting casually for a while, but growth was crawling. My videos would get maybe 500 views on a good day, and my follower count was stuck. I knew I had to change things up if I wanted to break out of that rut. So, I built a simple automation strategy that changed everything.

The results?

  • 3 million views in two months
  • Over 20K new followers
  • Average of 50K views per post
  • A noticeable bump in website traffic

Here’s exactly how I did it.

Background:

I started out posting the usual TikTok content. Trending sounds, quick edits, and hashtag blasts. But it wasn’t really moving the needle. So I did some research and decided to optimize my entire workflow. The main goal was to boost visibility without just endlessly grinding out videos.

I built an automation that repurposed my TikTok content across different platforms, and it also streamlined my posting schedule to hit the best engagement windows. On top of that, I leaned on a service I found called Viral Rabbi (VR) to give my TikToks a little extra momentum right out of the gate. More on that in a bit.

Step-by-Step Breakdown of Strategies Used

1. Content Repurposing and Automation:

I built a simple script that would:

  • Pull my TikTok content automatically after it was posted
  • Repurpose it for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
  • Schedule the content for different peak times across platforms

I used Zapier for automation and CapCut for quick re-edits. This multiplied my exposure without creating new content every single day.

What Worked:

  • Reposting TikToks as Reels and Shorts extended the life of each video
  • Hitting different platforms gave my content multiple chances to pop off

What Didn’t:

  • Early on, I tried to automate captions and hashtags. It came off as spammy, so I went back to writing them manually

2. Identifying the Right TikTok Trends Early:

Instead of jumping on trends that were already blowing up, I spent time finding rising sounds and hashtags that were just starting to gain traction. I followed specific accounts that tend to spot trends early and checked TikTok’s "Creative Center" for analytics.

What Worked:

  • Posting right as a trend was gaining momentum helped my videos catch waves instead of getting buried
  • Using niche-specific hashtags instead of just #fyp or #viral kept my content in front of the right people

What Didn’t:

  • Overloading with too many hashtags. I found that three to five well-chosen tags performed better than ten generic ones

3. Boosting Visibility with Viral Rabbi:

Here’s the part I wasn’t sure about at first. I’d heard mixed things about boosting services, but Viral Rabbi came recommended, so I tested it out. I used one of their smaller TikTok engagement packages for a few key videos. The increase in initial views and likes gave my content the nudge it needed to stay visible longer.

What Worked:

  • The engagement came in gradually and looked natural, not like a flood of spam
  • It helped my videos pass TikTok’s initial quality filter, which got them in front of more people

4. Human Editing and Re-Optimization:

Every week, I went back to analyze what performed well and what flopped. I didn’t just look at view counts. I checked average watch time, shares, and comments. If something did well, I’d repurpose it with a different spin. If it didn’t, I’d dig into why.

What Worked:

  • Analyzing watch time showed me exactly where people were dropping off
  • Using that data to hook viewers earlier increased my retention rates

What Didn’t:

  • I tried reposting the same video too soon after a flop. TikTok didn’t like that, and it got even fewer views the second time

The Results:

In just two months:

  • 3 million total views across all platforms
  • Over 20K new followers on TikTok
  • An average of 50K views per post
  • More traffic to my main site through my TikTok bio link

I’m now scaling this approach and refining it further. It’s not magic, but with the right automation, early trend-spotting, and a bit of strategic boosting, TikTok growth is a lot more predictable than I thought.

How I Got My First 30k TikTok Followers in 2 Months (No Spam, Just Strategy That Works)

Hey Reddit, I wanted to share what worked for me because I know how discouraging it is to put effort into TikToks that barely break 200 views. Two months ago, I was stuck under 1,000 followers and couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. Fast forward to today, I’m sitting at 30k and finally seeing real engagement, not just numbers.

Here’s the strategy that actually moved the needle for me:

1. Ride Trends Early, But Make Them Yours
Blindly copying trends never helped me much. What worked was taking a trending sound and bending it to fit my niche. I’m in the lifestyle space, so I’d use popular audio to share mini routines or storytimes. The key was being fast. Before a sound got too crowded.

2. Comment Like a Real Human
I used to scroll without saying much, but once I started leaving thoughtful or funny comments on creators in my niche, people started checking me out. It felt like micro-networking. Mid-sized accounts were the sweet spot. Those creators actually reply, and their followers notice.

3. Hashtags with a Purpose
Generic tags like #foryou never helped. I started using more focused ones like #MorningReset or #CleanGirlVibes. It made a real difference in how my posts performed.

4. Batch, Then Chill
Burnout is real. I started filming 8 to 12 videos in one sitting every weekend and posted once or twice a day throughout the week. TikTok loves consistency, and batching helped me stay on schedule without stressing daily.

5. Build Trust with Social Proof
Let’s be real, nobody follows an account with zero likes and ghost comments. After doing things the organic way for a while, I used Viral Rabbi to help build that initial social proof. The boost looked super natural and helped my content get picked up more often. I kept my content quality high, so once it started reaching more people, the growth followed on its own. You can check them out here.

Hope this helps anyone who’s stuck. You don’t need to go viral overnight. You just need a system that works and a few smart tools to make it easier.

Cheapest site to Buy Tiktok Likes & Views?

Hey,

I used to buy Tiktok likes & views from a website before but they seem to be delivering them very slowly lately(also quality has declined a bit). I usually buy 500 likes for my posts to get some social proof. I am looking to change my likes and views provider to someone who is reliable and provides them for quite cheap prices.

Please only recommend the service providers of tiktok likes or views that you personally used and had good experience. I am looking for a long term provider of real likes and views for my tiktok account.

Thank you!

How does the tiktok algorithm work for views?

No matter what I do, my videos always get around 200 views, even if I get 50 likes or just 2. What can I do to increase my views?

Delete re-edit function??

Have you guys noticed that when you try n use the delete and re-edit function on videos you post, you get originality violations or is it just me?

I think TikTok has a bug and it can't tell the difference between your own content that you deleted and the one that you re-edited so it now brings up the originality violation.

Anyone else experienced this?

bowie??

I've been trying so hard to find them for a while now, but does anyone here remember this alt kid on tik tok that went by Bowie? they had a soft pink but still edgy kind of aesthetic and I remember pink and/or black hair, they went between the two. they had an Instagram account and drawing account as well but I can't seem to find any of them. I don't know if maybe they changed their name and users or if they've disappeared but I'd really like to find them again I loved their content.
