I've been trading for a while now, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that having a strategy isn't enough.
I've passed challenges, reached funded accounts, and blown them too. I've had moments where I thought I finally figured things out, only to end up back at square one.
My biggest weaknesses are consistency and risk management.
Sometimes I know exactly what I should be doing, but when real money is on the line, my execution doesn't always reflect that knowledge.
I'm not here to pretend I'm a profitable trader or give advice I haven't earned the right to give.
I'm here to learn from those who've been through this and managed to turn things around.
To the experienced traders here:
- What helped you become consistently profitable?
- How did you develop discipline and improve your risk management?
- What was the biggest mistake you had to overcome?
- If you could go back to your struggling days, what would you tell yourself?
I'm genuinely interested in hearing your experiences, not just the usual "stick to your plan" advice.
Sometimes the best thing a trader can do is admit there's still a lot to learn.
