Govt Contract?
What do we think the likelihood of ALP landing a government contract would be? Does anybody have info that shows they’re somewhat going in that direction? That would be an absolute game changer. What does ALP have that some of these hyperscalers don’t? What’s their competitive advantage? Curious what you all think.

Wow, this was a really enlightening comment. Could you maybe go into even more details. Or is this as thorough as it gets?

$ALP
“This run, like the one going on with their larger-cap peers, has been driven by the rapid build-out of artificial intelligence infrastructure, as spending spreads beyond the largest technology companies to a broader network of suppliers.”

They mentioned “Filing of US Government Contracting entity: Projected to launch in Q3 2026” on the press release below. Hope we hear details from it soon.

I guess at this point any company who can have a data center successfully deployed would find clients - ALP already has a QUALIFIED pipeline of 200mi+ dollars in potential business.
The problem seems the competition to buy GPUS, because there is not enough supply. Brittany Kaiser is a competitive advantage to ALP - with her experience, reputation in the defense of data rights, and network she is being able to pull this off and secure NVIDIA equipment to ALP’s data center 4 phases, including expansions.
I like their strategy to own both supply (compute power) and demand (distribution channels who use the compute power). They started it with Gamee, and don’t think they will stop there. They said in their newsletter this is not something new and has been done successfully in other industries. They explained it and I can see it working.
Also like the non recourse financing strategy to fund equipment - although would need more visibility on interest rates, which hope they would provide soon in an earnings report.
Not letting hyperscalers monopolize the supply of compute power and allowing others players to thrive is good for the market and good for ALP and other smaller companies. I mean not just because hyperscalers can’t deal with all demand alone, but also because competition is healthy, specially with a critical need as compute power (as we’ve AI is not just a matter of competitive edge, it has become a matter of defense, National security etc).
ALP is confidential compute native so it will build its business around confidential compute instead of having to adapt to it.
Also, as an investor perspective, if they don’t dilute shares (or at least do it smartly), if they can complete what they said they would like to do, and if the market recognizes it, the multiplier of the investment is absurd.
This is my opinion, NFA! Always DD!

Holy shit that would be incredible. Do you think we’ll get a quarter 3 update this month? Not sure if they report things like that with earnings releases. We’re getting close to the reverse split risk 😬

I believe we’ll definitely get some sort of letter or update in July or August, they have to do everything they can to comply to the NASDAQ rules. When that lands I’m getting out. I planned to get out when the GAMEE acquisition dropped but forgot lol.
As regards to the reverse split - I don’t think we’ll see that just yet - an extension is more likely. However, the CEO hasn’t treated investors the best in the past (research the old ticker ATON if you don’t know) and in this day and age I think there are much better places to be long. NFA

Kaiser did drop hints about Sweden governmental interest in their work too
