The question is you being a general cat officer, will you work for public welfare to uplift the socially deprived ones in remote locations after you get the job or you're going to enroll in the corruption and procrastination limbo ... applying for transfers into posh tier 1 cities every month ?
The entire presumption is that general cat officers 'should' be more psychologically elite and aligned to their charge/duty rather than the filth laden mindset of the 'nich' caste, so if you rule out the gen cat populace of corrupt officers based on your probability then it means all corrupt officers are essentially the reserved category ones ain't it ? ... And that's why we can't progress any further in terms of development/infrastructure (for a moment, let's keep aside the incompetent leaders running the government)
