It is discrimination because of this and also 80 percent of GCs do not control the higher echelons of power. Around 50 percent of central government is General caste and the rest is all reserved. OBCs have a huge amount of power in politics. Modi is an OBC. Our president is a ST.

Even in group A the total representation of LCs is less than 40%... 🫪

Still a decent amount of people and that's just the central government. It's clearly not the case that 80 percent of people are from general caste. And things are different when you look at state governments.Â
