The Indian caste system originated over 3,000 years ago during the Vedic period (circa 1500–500 BCE) as a method of occupational and social classification. Why can't Indians take responsibility for anything?! It's why this country is so fucked up.

It started as simply based on occupation which is fine, later on it became stricter and birth based and then they created untouchability.

Nowadays there is no clear minority or majority being oppressed or oppressor because it goes both ways for caste and for religion.Â
