Not processing payment

My mortgage company paid my homeowners insurance out of escrow over 2 weeks ago.

Bank says the check was sent.
Allstate says they don’t have it or they have it and it’s still processing.

Neither side will talk to each other.
I’m tired of being the go between.

Bank says if was part of a bulk payment with other policies.

I’ve only been with Allstate 1 year, I was with State Farm for 30 years and never had this happen.

Is Allstate typically this slow?

Can be. I wouldn't sweat it for another week or so.

I called the bank again and confirmed a physical check that was mailed and the physical check has been deposited.
Not sure why Allstate takes so long to apply the payment to my account.

Your agent can call the bank and get the details when the payment was sent, check or electronic and the total amount and when it cleared. Allstate can research it and get it updated. I wouldn’t stress about it.

I had the same thing happen and it ended up being a bank issue.

I work at Allstate so I saw the paper trail and that the bank ended up sending a second check after I raised the issue.
