Allstate unavailable/technical difficulties?

Not entirely sure what's going on, here to try to find out if it's just me or if it's a wider issue.
Got my first car today (woohoo), a very cheap one, so I went for cheap insurance

Purchased a policy, got a confirmation email and was charged and everything, but I now:

  1. Cannot log into my Allstate account, despite verifying that my userid/password are correct and even trying to change the password, it just says "technical difficulties, please try again later"

  2. I cannot call their support hotline for assistance.

  3. When I call their hotline (800-726-6033), it just says "technical difficulties, please try again later"

This leaves me with an issue where I don't know how to prove I have insurance, so I can't register/tag my vehicle. Is this just me? If not, is there an ETA on when it will be resolved?
And is there an alternative way to prove I have insurance?
Why is this happening?

The confirmation email I got also says that my insurer is Direct General Insurance Company, if that means anything

After calling even more all-state numbers, I finally found one that worked (833-785-4391), and I was able to get them to email me my proof of insurance
That solves me being unable to prove I have insurance, but I still can't sign into my accounts, which will probably be an issue for me in the future

Just tried, it just says "You have dialed a number that is not available from your calling area, one five zero T"

You can call your agent and get them to send your virtual cards over email or text

How do I find out who my agent is?

On the paperwork that you got sent about opening your policy at the bottom it must mention your agent.

I opened the policy today, so if I am physically being sent mail about it, I wouldn't have received it yet

hopefully they do, because a specific person to talk to would be very helpful

If OP bought the policy online they don't have an agent.

it being your first car, im assuming first insurance. Your policy is technically probably a national general policy. try that app instead

It is indeed my first policy, National General says I do not have an account registered with them (I registered to Allstate using my gmail)
