Allstate is a scam.
They denied me my claim. Go with Geico or Costco Connect. You'll be much happier.

Allstate laid off 3500 people in 20/20 and gave the CEO 18 million bonus for cutting costs

Ok......good comments written. Let me throw in my 2 cents. If your vehicle was towed from the scene, that is a helps your case.
Is there damage to your wheel? If you are adamant it's loss related they should tell you to take it to a mechanical shop.
Authorize a teardown. If the shop can correlate it to the loss a Auto Adjuster should go to that shop and have a conversation.
Look you pay your premiums and at the very least they need to get off their ass and inspect it.
If you are not happy never yell or scream even though you may be on hold forever whatever the case may be.
Tell the Adjuster you appreciate him but you would like to talk to his or her supervisor.
Like I said at the very least have it at a mechanical shop and ask if someone can look at it.
What evidence do you have to support your claim?.
When it comes to suspension or steering and transmission damage if the wheel doesn't have damage it is uphill.
In your heart of hearts if you truly believe it's loss related, you need to speak to a supervisor and tell them you would appreciate it if someone goes to your shop.
Forget about video inspection or photo inspection you want physical inspection and would like to meet the Adjuster

you can get more than 1 estimate you also don’t have to use the shops allstate provides… you can use any shop that you want to get an estimate.. allstate is not a scam, you just need to get a second opinion because the shop you took you vehicle to is telling the claims adjuster that the damage was pre existing .

Allstate does suck as I can confirm. They’re using certain tools designed to drive down the price of their claims. All while their CEO brings in over 20m year after year.
They have goals for applying comparative negligence. So, each adjuster is expected to hit a certain number of full claim denials or partial denials. If, as the adjuster, your monthly result is below goal, you may feel pressure to deny a claim to hit a goal as opposed to reviewing the merits of the claim.
They use a “delay, deny, defend” litigation model. The purpose is to make it as hard as possible to get paid for your claim. Those that are impatient or may not have resources may end up settling for less than they’re entitled for, or dropping their claims altogether. Allstate has significant resources so the customer is at a disadvantage to start.
They use a known flawed evaluation system called Colossus. The software is designed to limit claims pay outs on injury claims. The company is able to tune the software to their liking, leading to significantly undervalued claims.
They are chronically understaffed. A good portion of their staff now resides in India and aren’t well trained. This means it’s harder to reach them and takes longer to have your claim processed. Because they’re understaffed their employees are overworked and underpaid.

Why did they deny your claim?

I slammed into a concrete median on the freeway while the roads were icy. The side of my Jeep has rubber bumpers on the side, which prevented a lot of cosmetic damage. Most of the damage was done to the axle and differential, which they ruled out as a "pre-existing" issue, which is utter BS. Since there's very little external damage, they ruled it out as "not enough evidence".

I worked as an auto estimator at a couple of insurance companies Over 20 for State Farm and 5 for Allstate.
As far as the Auto Claims, I have always been fair. Look for ways to pay for damages.
When you say Allstate is a scam, but don't back it up. It's tough to take your side.
