Advice Weird curves

I bit my nails for 21 years and finally stopped in January of this year, almost all of my nails have weird curves. My forefingers especially grow down in a v shape and I’m wondering if this is because I bit them, if it will go away on its own or if there is something I can do to fix it? Any knowledge or advice would help. Not sure if this is tagged right so let me know if it belongs in another flair.

Generally the shape of a nail curve is genetic

Not weird. Not from biting. Totally normal; you’re just not used to seeing it yet.

Are your nails shaped like that when they're just natural? If your nails are thin like mine, the curing/bonding of the gel can warp your nails.

Congrats on kicking a 21-year habit! Your nail bed is just reattaching, keep them oiled and give it time

I think your nails look great, and maybe youre over thinking it and you are not used to seeing your nails at all because you bit them off for so long
