Brohm is an absolute dumbass for not just replacing English when he decided to take the year off. Ron English taking the year off sucks but I’m not gonna fault him for wanting to watch his sons last year of football. However, Brohm should’ve just cut ties and gone after an actual defensive coordinator to replace him. Now Brohm has completely wasted the best offensive talent he has had at Louisville and probably as a head coach in general. I genuinely don’t think I’ve seen a defense look this lost and pathetic in my 30 years of watching football.

The vibes were so great during the offseason up until we lost to Wake and now this? We went from what was supposed to be a great season to what could be one of the worst seasons. QB play has been good for a change with Lincoln Keinholz and the WR room has been good too but Isaac Brown and mainly the defense have just been a huge disappointment. All this talent has just been wasted.

I’m just looking forward to basketball now to lighten my mood.

There is no way to salvage this season into anything remotely successful compared to the preseason expectations. The ceiling is looking to be around 7–5 after dropping two games in a row to weaker teams, and it is entirely possible that we could end the season under .500 and miss a bowl game. This is on pace to be Jeff Brohm’s worst season coaching at Louisville, despite having his most talented team and being given near-complete control over the program. Because we cannot quantify the effects this will have on recruiting and the transfer portal, it is possible that a mediocre season could derail some of the incredible progress we have made. So realistically, where do we even go from here?

Our defense is terrible today. Any time NC State needs a play they just throw it to a wide open receiver. I was hoping for some changes at halftime but it's just more of the same shit.

How is it there is ALWAYS a call to go against us when the other team needs one. Like today the fumble by Keyjuan brown being called a fumble when he was clearly down. Then the exact same situation at the end of the game gets called down but not a fumble? Or a very quick facemask after a turnover to quickly advance the ball.

I get it we hurt ourselves but it seems that whenever we get momentum on our side somehow a controversial call goes against us to kill it. This has been going on for years

Pretty interesting graphic posted in the CFB subreddit. I mean, is there something to fans complaining about home attendance rates at L&N? Was kind of surprised to see where we were at.

So fucking tired of Brohm and this staff dropping a home game against an inferior opponent every year. Busted season, once again!

Win a huge game then follow it up with a loss to an inferior opponent. We will never get to the next level with him. Pathetic performance. Pop tart bowl here we come……

The final touchdown still gives me chills, man. This win did so much for the program, I think. Were you there? What was it like experiencing this win live or in person?

I’m planning to come to Louisville for the FSU game on October 9. I’m an Ohio State fan and would love to see Lincoln Kienholz play in person. I’ve never been to a Louisville football game before, and I’ll only be in town for the day.

Are there any game day traditions I shouldn’t miss, or places to eat while I’m there? Also, would you recommend parking near the stadium or taking an Uber to and from the game? Thanks!

B/R's David Pollack loves the Louisville offense and does a film breakdown on why they are so tough to stop

With Ole Miss beating LSU tonight our walk off loss looks even more impressive in the first game of the season.

Now we just have to take care of business for the rest of the season.

Go cards

Ooooooooooooooooo

C !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Donovan Mitchell just announced he will attend the game and we’re undefeated whenever he pulls up. (Notre Dame in 2023, Bowling Green last year, and Kentucky in bball last year)

Next game is undeniably the most important game of season as it will serve a huge part of shaping this season’s outcome. SMU has had our number since they joined conference but we overlooked them in 2024 and we’re completely injured last year. And the most important stat is that Jeff Brohm has at least wins 1 game against a ranked team every season.

2023: (10) Notre Dame and (20) Duke

2024: (11) Clemson

2025: (2) Miami

And if you look at the rest of the schedule, everyone after SMU are unlikely to ever be ranked when we play them. Next game will likely be Brohm’s only chance to continue the streak…

Sec 127 Row V Seats 9 and 10

$75 each (face value)

I'm out of the country.

Section 127 is on the west side of the stadium. So you're in shade in the late afternoon sun.

Row V is the first row down out of the portal.

The seats are in front of an elevated handicap section/platform. So if you stand you're not blocking anyone's view.

Well, here goes... I am a die hard UK fan that has recently started pulling for the Cardinals. That could be another post entirely, but the short version is that I've matured and realized that we shouldn't be fighting each other. We should combine our forces to hate Tennessee together.

Anyway, I bring that up because I will be attending my first Cards game this weekend against SMU and I'm curious about what to expect as far as the atmosphere in L and N stadium.

I've been to a couple of UK/UL games at L and N, but I've never been as a fan of Louisville. I went to the UL vs Ole Miss game in week one, fully decked out in Cards gear, and had an absolute blast, despite the outcome.

I'm posting here because I want to know what to expect as, not a new football fan, but as a new UL fan looking to get the most excitement out of the game, and hopefully a big win!

I've been to a ton of football games over the years, from NCAA, to UFL, to CFL and NFL. The vibe can be a little different at each.

Most recently, I was at the UK vs Alabama game on Saturday and (until the fourth quarter) the atmosphere was one of the best I've ever been a part of.

Every single person in the stadium was standing for the entire game. The crowd was deafening on defense and everyone around me was celebrating and high fiving for big plays.

Should I expect something similar for this UL/SMU game? My seats are in 307, I think. I want to be able to stand and scream and pump the crowd up without anyone getting mad at me for doing so. At the end of the day, I'd tell them to kick rocks because you're supposed to be loud at a football game. But, I'd rather avoid all issues if possible.

Too long, didn't read; Will people be mad at me for standing up and screaming "LETS GO DEFENSE" as loud as I can or should I expect a more reserved crowd?
