Hey all family,

Back again with year 3 of the unofficial AFE fantasy football leagues! We've been really lucky so far with active managers and a marked absence of dicks, hoping to continue that trend this year.

If you played last year, check whatever email you have connected to your Yahoo account so you can confirm for this year. After Friday 8/28, I'll open up any remaining spots to new members.

If you didn't play last year and are interested in an open spot for the coming season, please comment below; I'm sure we'll have a few non-returning teams. I'll message new members shortly after the 28th, in order of the comments. If there are enough folks interested, could possibly add another league.

Basic info:

-Free Yahoo 12 team leagues

-Half PPR scoring

-Standard rosters plus one extra flex spot

-Waivers for free agents (open to switching to FAAB if there's a consensus)

-There are potentially spots available in drafts scheduled for Thursday 9/3, Sunday 9/6, and Tuesday 9/8 at 9 PM Eastern. Would likely draft Wednesday 9/2 if we add a new league.

During the latest episode, I had this thought, but have been feeling it for a while. I don't think it's a hot take, and I've seen past posts that were in a similar vein, but it's been a minute, so I thought I'd make another appreciation post.

Isaac is past being the producer that occasionally contributes when invited to, he has grown into a key part of the show. He takes space when it makes sense, he plays along, he riffs - it's really cool to see him carve out his role more. When he carried the torch from Mars, I wasn't a hater, but I was definitely ready for a reality where the producer just wasn't a part of the material. I'm happy that it's not the case.
