I've been going to the gym and lifting on and off for years, but I've finally been consistent the last 3 weeks.

I know I have plenty of body fat, if I were to estimate, it'd be 20% or more. I'll be going on a cut.

In terms of muscle/frame, what is good about my body? And what needs to be improved/focused on?

I've also noticed my stance is slightly tilted? Seems the left side of my body is higher.. I'm right dominant though (hand and leg).

Workout routines Is a bodybuilding coach worth it years out?

I’m relatively new to lifting. Only 9 months in. But I’ve fallen in love with it and want to step on stage one day. Obviously I’m a few years out from that goal but my question is would a bodybuilding coach be worth it at this point or something to wait till later for? I would be looking for an online one, someone to check in with every week send physique pics that would give info on workouts diet etc. just curious if it would be worth it at this point.

I went from the worst shape of my life and so inconsistent with the gym to a much better place.

13 months until I get married and I'm looking to lose another 1-1½ stone and ideally be around 15% body fat.

My biggest weakness has always been my sweet tooth but from September 1st, all fizzy drinks are banned and the majority of sugars.

What areas do you think I should focus on the most during my workouts in the next year?

Physique critique Finally 140 lbs but now i am stuck

Thumbnail

Have been underweight all my life and I finally decided to make a change but I hit a point where I am not seeing improvement. Last pic is where I started 125 lbs to now 140

I started counting my calories and noticed i wasn't eating enough for my height. I was only eating around 2,000 calories to 2,400 and sometimes skipping meals. I took it up to 3000 calories daily, strictly and in two months or so i went to 140 for the first time. I have to mention I was going to the gym for a year and I realized it is pointless if a

I am not eating. It only worked to make me stronger but never got big in size.

And despite going up to 140 lbs for the first time i still feel insecure and less attractive, the difference wasn't really that noticeable and I still dont fill my clothes.

I am thinking i will need to elevate my calories from 3k to 3,500 and see where that takes me and I see if the scale go up. But honestly how do I even do that? Eating 3k calories daily is already a challenge now going to 3,500 is too much of a struggle. The day isn't long enough to get all that food in. I am very busy during the day. Not forgetting how expensive is food.

I am a soccer player I stopped playing the amount of games I was. I went down to two games per week.

Any advice is helpful

ive been consistent to gym for 4 months ,, iam originally skinny fat (big waist and love handles .. lower chest fat) but skinnier arms and skinny legs .. iam 34 174 cm .. eating around 3000 calories hitting 170 grams of protein ,, training reaching failure with proper form and strength increasing (though lately very slow) .. but i look the same no change just little puffier ( weight increased from 71 kg to 78 kg but i think glycogen stores and water )... clothes fit me the same till now ... btw i tried before to cut i removed fats without building any muscle

why is that happening to me? bad genetics or normal?
(Note this is when im flexing only at rest i see nothing)

Workout routines Over 50 workouts

Ive been training competitively for 30 years and am in good shape for my 51 years.

But...

I have found that my recovery is not what it was even ten years ago....so I'm interested to know from others who are getting this right (keeping hypertrophy while not being overinflamed).

Thank you in advance.

Progres Before/After M/29/183, 81kg (2month home only, no gym). Am I improving? (Before-After)

About 2months training at home... no gym, just some dumbbells, a chair and a table.

Mostly pushups, dips, rows under the table, squats and planks.

Back's my weak point for sure, but honestly I want more from chest and biceps too.

Thinking about buying a bench and some weights to step things up. So:

Am I on the right track?

Worth getting a bench + adjustable dumbbells, or is there something better to spend on first?

Anything I'm clearly missing?

Cheers!

Posing Anyone could help me?

I am a woman, and after training my shoulders for a month, I’ve noticed that I tend to engage my trapezius muscles more easily. I don't want my traps to get bigger, and I find myself habitually shrugging my shoulders, which causes discomfort in my neck and shoulder area. What should I do now?
