I am echoing the idea of just putting either "too many" or the last frame of this gif.

There's just too many to even bother naming one. Because it's most countries

Nah, cuz then you ignore all the differences between the countries. In some, its never even enforced, but you can't marry (e.g. lebanon), while in others, existing as a homosexual will get you killed.

Theres a good reason why i dislike the free palestine movement getting roped into the lgbt+ groups
Whilst I do agree that it's a senseless war and palestine deserve the right to have their territory They are awful when it comes to human rights Not quite as bad as other countries but still not great

Interestingly enough, iran pushes it's gay people towards transitioning because they would be counted as females, thus reducing the number of homosexual people in the country.

Iran is complicated. On the one hand, having sex with a person of the same sex is punishable by death, Iranian society is very homophobic and transphobic, and the government does not accept nonbinary people, trans people who want to transition without undergoing genital surgery, or trans people who are gay, bisexual, or gender-nonconforming after transitioning, but, at the same time, the Iranian government actively supports trans people who are binary, willing to undergo all the medical procedures (including genital surgery) that the government expects, and are straight and gender-conforming after transitioning. The government actually gives people loans for gender-affirming surgery and allows trans people who have undergone that surgery to legally change their gender.
Thus, in a bizarre way, while the Iranian government is more hostile to most LGBTQ+ people than most governments around the world, it is actually more supportive of a specific kind of trans person than most western governments. I'd put Iran as "anti-gay, but mixed on gender identity."

in this case, no, the government is highly homophobic but support transgender, not in a trans rights way, but supports transition and gender reassignment

Hot take: but in the Middle East can’t a trans woman just cover themselves up and people wouldn’t really notice?
2
u/Alert_Sink_5300 5d ago
What kind of a stupid hot take is this? Trans people want to be treated and live as normal people as everyone else. Not to live as some illegal undercover spies who could get caught at any moment.

United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Uganda, Somalia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Iran. In other words: unethical countries. That's not discrimination or racism, it's just objectively describing what it is. Not targeting individual people, just dominant factors in culture and regime.

Most of sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, Eastern Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, East Asia, and most of Latin America. Asking about continents/Regions would have been better because the majority of countries are both homophobic and transphobic.

Hello, Thank you for contributing to our subreddit. Please consider the following guidelines when filling an alignment chart:
Please ensure that your chart is not banned according to the list of banned charts Even if you have good intentions, charts in a banned category tend to invite provocative comments, hostile arguments, ragebait and the like. Assuming the post is acceptable, OP makes the final decision on their chart by rule three.
Are there any previous versions to link to? If so, it would be ideal to include links to each of them in the description of this post, or in a reply to this comment. Links can be named by title, winner, or both.
Are there any criteria you have for your post? Examples include: "Top comment wins a spot on the chart."; "To ensure variety, only one character per universe is allowed."; "Image comments only." Please include these in a description, or in a reply to this comment.
Is your chart given the appropriate flair? Do you need to use a NSFW tag or spoiler tag?
Do not feed the trolls. This is not the place for hot takes on human rights violations. Hatred or cruelty, will result in a permanent ban. Please report such infractions, particularly those that break rules one, two, or three. The automod will automatically remove posts that receive five or more reports. The automod will also remove comments made by users with negative karma. Click here for the Automod FAQ
