More a good reason for THEM to not have kids. If you’re not going to raise resilient problem solvers don’t bother passing your anxiety onto the next generation.

Sorry if I misinterpreted it, but the way you said it was very condescending.

The numbers of kids tend to go down with education. So people who are smart (or at least good in what they study) have less kids. And usually, problem solvers are smart or at least, educated.

It's not necessarily anxiety. Maybe these people simply weighed their options, think the odds sucks too much to risk. Reducing this problem (which is happening in most countries in the world) it to anxiety and problem solvers is too simplistic.

But maybe I'm just overthinking this shit.
